Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Rabee’ states that Hasan did not consider there to be any harm in sprinkling water on the grave.

Hazrat Abu Ja'far says that there is no harm in sprinkling water on the grave.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Bakr narrates that I was at a funeral and Hazrat Ziyad bin Jubair bin Hiyyah was also with us. When the grave was leveled, water was poured over it. A person came and started touching the grave and fixing it. Hazrat Ziyad said, "After pouring water on the grave, it is disliked to touch it with hands."
