Should people wait for someone after placing the body down?
Hadith 11929
١١٩٢٩ - حدثنا غندر عن عثمان بن غياث قال: سمعت الحسن يقول في القوم (يصفون على) (١) الجنازة فيجيء الرجل ينتظرونه قال: لا بأس.
Hazrat Usman bin Ghiyath narrates that I heard Hasan saying: People had formed rows for the funeral prayer; can they wait for a person to arrive? He replied: There is no harm in it.
Hadith 11930
١١٩٣٠ - حدثنا ابن ادريس عن السعودي قال: أراه عن القاسم أن عمر انتظر ابن أم عبد بالصلاة على عتبة بن مسعود (١).
Hazrat Qasim narrates that Hazrat Umar waited for the son of Umm Abd at the funeral of Hazrat Utbah bin Mas'ud.
