Hadith 11484
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah honor his face) narrates that when Abu Talib passed away, I went to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I said: O Messenger of Allah! Your misguided and elderly uncle has died. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Go to him and cover him, and do not do anything else until you come to me. So I covered him and then came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He instructed me to give him a bath, and he made some supplications for me which, to me, are more desirable than all the things of this world combined.
