Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib states that a child will be shrouded in a sheet.

Hasan says that a nursing infant and a weaned child will be shrouded in a sheet, and if the child is older than that, he will be shrouded in a shirt and two sheets.

Muhammad Irshad says that if desired, the fetus may be shrouded in three cloths.

Muhammad Irshad says that whatever (cloth) is available will be used for the shroud.

Hazrat Ata states: The child will be shrouded in a garment, even if he had made an effort (movement).

Ibrahim states that the fetus will be shrouded in a cloth.

Hazrat Hammad states: The child will be shrouded in (any) cloth.

Ibrahim said that the child will be shrouded in a sheet; from it, a shirt and a wrapper will be made.
