Hadith 10847
١٠٨٤٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش عن محمد بن زياد الألهاني قال: سمعت أبا أمامة الباهلي يقول: حليف السيف من (الكنوز) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Muhammad bin Ziyad Al-Alhani says that I heard from Hazrat Abu Umamah Bahili, he said: The ornament of the sword is from the treasure.
Hadith 10848
١٠٨٤٨ - حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش عن عبيد اللَّه بن عبيد قال: قلت لمكحول يا أبا (عبد اللَّه) (١) إن لي سيفًا فيه خمسون ومائة درهم علي (فيها) (٢) زكاة فقال: (أضف) (٣) إليها ما كان لك من ذهب وفضة، فعليك فيه (٤) الزكاة.
Hazrat Ubaidullah bin Ubaid says that I said to Hazrat Mak’hool: O Abu Abdullah! I have a sword that is worth one hundred and fifty dirhams. Is there zakat on it? He replied: Add it to whatever silver you have, and then pay zakat on the total amount.
Hadith 10849
١٠٨٤٩ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم عن حجاج قال: سألت عطاء.
Hazrat Hajjaj says that I asked Hazrat Ata, Hazrat Hammad, and Ibrahim: I have a vessel that is plated with (gold or silver), a sword with ornaments, and an ornamented belt. When I add them all together, their value becomes two hundred dirhams. Should I pay zakat on this? All of them replied: No.
Hadith 10851
١٠٨٥١ - حديث إسماعيل بن عياش عن مالك بن عبد اللَّه (الكلاعي) (١) قال: سمعت (خالد) (٢) بن (معدان) (٣) يقول: حلية (السيف) (٤) من الكنوز.
Hazrat Malik bin Abdullah Al-Kala'i narrates that I heard Hazrat Malik bin Mughul saying: The ornamentation of the sword (in ruling) is from the treasury.
