Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ja'far narrates from his father that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

Hazrat Asim narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Zakat is not obligatory on wealth until a year has passed over it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Asim that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Zakat is not obligatory on wealth until a year has passed over it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi' that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Whoever receives wealth (during the year), zakat is not obligatory upon it until a year has passed over it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that Hazrat Abu Bakr said: "Zakat is not due on wealth until a year has passed over it."

It is narrated from Hazrat Humaid that Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz wrote (to his governors) that: Whoever receives wealth (during the year), there is no zakat on it until a full year has passed over that wealth.

Hazrat Salim says that there is no Zakat on wealth until a year has passed over it.

Hasan says that there is no zakat on wealth until a year has passed over it.

Ibrahim says that there is no zakat on wealth until a year has passed over it.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that there is no Zakat on wealth until a year has passed over it.

Hazrat Abu Ja'far says that there is no Zakat on wealth until a year has passed over it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi' that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) says that there is no zakat on wealth until a full year has passed from the time it has yielded profit (an increase in wealth has occurred).
