من رخص في الوصال للصائم
Those who permitted continuous fasting (sawm al-wisal)
Hadith 9853
٩٨٥٣ - حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم عن داود عن أبي العالية أنه قال: في الوصال في الصيام قال اللَّه ﵎: ﴿ثُمَّ أَتِمُّوا الصِّيَامَ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ﴾، (وإذا) (١) جاء الليل فهو مفطر ثم إن شاء صام وإن شاء ترك.
Hazrat Abu Al-Aaliyah, regarding continuous fasting (Saum Wisal), says that Allah, the Lord of Majesty, has stated { ثُمَّ أَتِمُّوا الصِّیَامَ إلَی اللَّیْلِ } Thus, in the light of this verse, when night comes, his fast is completed; now if he wishes, he may fast again, and if he wishes, he may not.
Hadith 9854
٩٨٥٤ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين عن (بكير) (١) بن عامر قال: كان ابن أبي (نعم) (٢) يواصل خمسة عشر يومًا حتى (نعوده) (٣).
Hazrat Aamir says that Hazrat Ibn Abi Nu'm kept the fast of wisal for fifteen days. Then we stopped him from it.
Hadith 9855
٩٨٥٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن الأسود (بن) (١) شيبان (عن) (٢) أبي نوفل بن أبي عقرب قال: دخلت على ابن الزبير صبيحة خمسة عشر من الشهر وهو مواصل (٣).
Hazrat Abu Nofal bin Abi Aqrab narrates that I came to Hazrat Ibn Zubair on the fifteenth day of the month; he was observing continuous fasting (Sawm Wisal).
