Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Qatadah narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the person who had intercourse with his wife during Ramadan, "If your back has sinned, then your stomach should not sin."

Hazrat Ata, regarding the person who has intercourse with his wife during the month of Ramadan, says that if he wishes, he may eat and drink.

Hazrat Ibn Jurayj says that I asked Amr bin Dinar, "It is said that if a person has intercourse with his wife during Ramadan, he should complete that day and also make up for it. Is this correct?" He replied, "Yes."

Hasan used to say that if a man has intercourse with his wife, it does not matter whether he eats something or not.
