Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Mujahid or Hazrat Ata say that there is no harm if a fasting person tastes something from the pot.

Hazrat Sha’bah says that I asked Hazrat Hakam whether a fasting person can lick ink? He replied that there is no harm in it.

Hazrat Masrooq narrates that on the day of Arafah, I visited Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) with a man. She had a drink brought for us and said, "If I were not fasting, I would have tasted it."
