من قال إذا أجمع على إقامة خمس عشرة (أتم)
Those Scholars Who Say If One Intends to Stay Fifteen Days, He Should Pray Full Prayers
Hadith 8431
٨٤٣١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس عن داود بن أبي هند (عن سعيد بن المسيب) (١) قال: إذا أجمع (الرجل) (٢) على إقامة خمس عشرة أتم الصلاة.
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib says that when a traveler intends to stay for fifteen days, he will offer full prayers.
Hadith 8432
٨٤٣٢ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن جعفر عن أبيه عن علي قال: إذا أقمت عشرا فأتم (١).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that when you intend to stay for ten days, perform the full prayer.
Hadith 8433
٨٤٣٣ - حدثنا حفص عن جعفر عن أبيه عن علي بنحوه (١).
It is narrated similarly through another chain.
Hadith 8434
٨٤٣٤ - حدثنا الثقفي عن جعفر عن أبيه قال: من أقام عشرا أتم.
Hazrat Abu Ja'far says that when one intends to stay for ten days, he should perform the complete prayer.
Hadith 8435
٨٤٣٥ - حدثنا شريك عن جابر (عن) (١) أبي جعفر أنه كان يتم في عشر.
Hazrat Abu Ja'far used to perform the full prayer when intending to stay for ten days.
Hadith 8436
٨٤٣٦ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا (عمر) (١) بن ذر عن مجاهد قال: كان ابن عمر إذا أجمع على إقامة خمس عشرة (سرح) (٢) ظهره وصلى أربعا (٣).
Hazrat Mujahid says that when Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) intended to stay for fifteen days, he would let his mount graze and would perform four rak'ahs (units of prayer).
Hadith 8437
٨٤٣٧ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا شعبة عن أبي بشر عن سعيد بن جبير قال: إذا أقمت أكثر من خمس عشرة فأتم الصلاة.
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair says that when you intend to stay for more than fifteen days, then offer the complete prayer.
Hadith 8438
٨٤٣٨ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا هشام عن قتادة عن ابن المسيب قال: إذا أقمت (أربعًا) (١) فصلِّ أربعًا.
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib says that when you intend to stay for four days, then offer four rak'ahs.
Hadith 8439
٨٤٣٩ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا (قرة) (١) بن خالد عن أبي (حكيمة) (٢) قال: سألت سعيد بن المسيب فقال: إذا أقمت ثلاثًا فأتم الصلاة، قال وكيع: سمعت سفيان يقول: إذا أجمع على مقام خمس عشرة أتم الصلاة حين يدخل (وإذا) (٣) لم يدر متى يخرج صلى ركعتين وإن أقام حولا.
Hazrat Abu Hakimah narrates that I asked Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib about this matter, so he said: When you intend to stay for three days, then perform the full prayer.
