Those Scholars Who Hold There Is No Harm in Praying Nafl Before Fard
Hadith 7274
٧٢٧٤ - [حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم عن منصور ويونس عن الحسن أنه كان لا يرى بأسًا أن يتطوع] (١).
Hasan did not see any harm in offering nafl (supererogatory) prayers before the obligatory (fard) prayer.
Hadith 7275
٧٢٧٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم عن حصين عن (ذر) (١) قال: يتطوع إن شاء.
Hazrat Zarr says that if he wishes, he may offer voluntary (nafl) prayers.
Hadith 7276
٧٢٧٦ - حدثنا هشيم عن العوام عن عبد اللَّه بن أبي الهذيل أنه كان يتطوع إذا (سبق) (١) بالمكتوبة.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Huzail used to offer the optional (nafl) prayer first even in the case of missing the obligatory (fard) prayer.
Hadith 7277
٧٢٧٧ - حدثنا حفص عن ابن عون قال: سئل الحسن عن الرجل يدخل المسجد وقد صلى أهله فقال: أما أنا فكنت أصلي (كما) (١) كنت أصلي قبل ذلك.
Ibn Aun says that Hasan was asked: If a person enters the mosque and the people have already performed the prayer, what should he do? He replied: If this happens to me, I will perform the prayer in the same manner as I normally do.
Hadith 7278
٧٢٧٨ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن حماد قال: لا بأس به إذا كان في وقت صلاة.
Hazrat Hammad says that if it is time for prayer, there is no harm in offering Nafl (voluntary) prayers.
Hadith 7279
٧٢٧٩ - أخبرنا وكيع قال: (نا) (١) شعبة قال: قال حماد: يتطوع إن شاء.
Hazrat Hammad says that if he wishes, he may offer Nafl (voluntary) prayers.
