Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Bara bin Azib narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Du'a Qunoot in the Fajr and Maghrib prayers. Upon hearing this narration, Ibrahim said: Are they like the companions of Abdullah? They are the companions of the rulers.

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Ma'qal narrates that I offered the Maghrib prayer behind Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and he recited the Du'a Qunoot in it.

Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that there are two prayers in which the Du'a Qunoot will be recited: Maghrib and Fajr.

Hazrat Ibn Ma'qil narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) recited the Du'a Qunoot in the Maghrib prayer.

Hazrat Thabit Thumali narrates that I asked Hazrat Abu Ja'far about Qunoot, so he replied that every prayer in which the recitation is done aloud, there is also Qunoot in it.
