(ما فيه) إذا صلى الفجر ولم يوتر
If someone does not pray Witr and prays Fajr, what is the ruling?
Hadith 6943
٦٩٤٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم عن أبي هارون عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال: نادى منادي رسول اللَّه ﷺ: " (أن) (١) لا وتر (٢) بعد طلوع الفجر" (٣).
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri narrates that the announcer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) proclaimed that after the break of dawn, there is no Witr.
Hadith 6944
٦٩٤٤ - حدثنا معتمر عن أبي هارون عن أبي سعيد عن النبي ﷺ بنحوه (١).
It is narrated similarly through another chain.
Hadith 6945
٦٩٤٥ - حدثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا يونس ومنصور عن الحسن قال: (إذا) (١) صليت الغداة وطلعت الشمس فقد ذهب الوتر.
Hasan says that when you have performed the Fajr prayer and the sun has risen, then the time for Witr has passed.
Hadith 6946
٦٩٤٦ - حدثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا مغيرة عن إبراهيم.
Ibrahim and Hazrat Ata say that when you have performed the Fajr prayer and the sun has risen, then there is no Witr for it.
Hadith 6948
٦٩٤٨ - [حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن هشام عن الحسن قال: لا وتر بعد الغداة] (١).
Hasan says that there is no Witr after the Fajr prayer.
Hadith 6949
٦٩٤٩ - (حدثنا) (١) أبو بكر بن عياش عن مطرف عن الشعبي قال: من صلى الغداة (ولم) (٢) يوتر فلا وتر عليه.
Hazrat Sha'bi says that whoever has performed the morning prayer but has not performed Witr, then Witr is not obligatory upon him.
Hadith 6950
٦٩٥٠ - حدثنا معتمر عن برد عن مكحول قال: من أصبح ولم يوتر فلا وتر عليه.
Hazrat Mak’hool says that if a person has performed the morning prayer but has not performed Witr, then Witr is not obligatory upon him.
Hadith 6951
٦٩٥١ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن عبد الملك عن سعيد بن جبير قال: إذا طلع الفجر فلا (توتر) (١)، كيف (تجعل) (٢) صلاة الليل في صلاة النهار؟.
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair says that when dawn has risen and you have not performed Witr, then how will you perform the night prayer in the day prayer?
