Those who see no harm in lengthening the sunnahs of Fajr
Hadith 6508
٦٥٠٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (وكيع) (١) قال: حدثنا مسعر عن شيخ من الأنصار، قال مسعر: أراه عثمان (عن) (٢) سعيد بن جبير قال: كان النبي ﷺ ربما أطال ركعتي الفجر (٣).
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes perform the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr at length.
Hadith 6509
٦٥٠٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن (ليث) (١) أبي (المشرفي) (٢) عن الحسن قال: لا بأس أن يطيل ركعتي الفجر يقرأ فيهما من حزبه إذا فاته.
Hasan says that there is no harm in lengthening the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr. A person can complete his usual recitation in them, if it was missed.
Hadith 6510
٦٥١٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن رجل عن مجاهد قال: لا بأس أن يطيل ركعتي الفجر.
Hazrat Mujahid says that there is no harm in lengthening the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr.
