Those who considered it disliked for a blind person to lead prayer
Hadith 6218
٦٢١٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبد الأعلى عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس قال: كيف أؤمهم وهم يعدلوني إلى القبلة (١).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: How can I lead them in prayer when they turn my face away from the Qiblah?
Hadith 6219
٦٢١٩ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين عن حسن (١) بن أبي الحسناء عن زياد النميري قال: سألت أنسًا عن الأعمى يؤم فقال: ما أفقركم إلى ذلك (٢).
Ziyad Namiri says that I asked Hazrat Anas about the leadership of prayer by a blind person, so he replied, "What need do you have for this?"
Hadith 6220
٦٢٢٠ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن واصل الأحدب عن قبيصة بن برمة الأسدي، قال: قال عبد اللَّه: ما أحب أن يكون مؤذنوكم عميانكم (و) (١) قال: أحسبه قال: ولا قراؤكم (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah said that I do not like that your muezzins should be blind. One narrator says that I think he also said this about the reciters.
Hadith 6221
٦٢٢١ - حدثنا زيد بن حباب عن إسرائيل عن مرزوق عن سعيد بن جبير أنه قال: الأعمى لا يؤم.
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair says that a blind person should not lead the prayer.
