Hazrat Umar says that Jumu'ah (Friday prayer) does not prevent (one) from traveling.

Hazrat Salih bin Kaysan narrates that Hazrat Abu Ubaidah set out on a journey on a Friday and did not wait for the Friday prayer.

Hazrat Nafi' narrates that one of the sons of Hazrat Sa'id bin Zaid lived on his land in 'Aqiq, which was several miles away from Madinah. One day, on a Friday morning, he met Hazrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and mentioned a complaint of his. Hazrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) set out with him and missed the Friday prayer.

Hasan says that there is no harm in traveling before the time of Jumu'ah on the day of Jumu'ah.

Ibn Sirin also used to say the same.

Ibn Sirin states that there is no harm in traveling on the day of Friday.

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Dhu’ayb narrates that I went on a journey with Hazrat Zubair on a Friday, and he performed four rak‘ahs of the Friday prayer.

Hazrat Ibn Abi Dhi'b says that I saw Ibn Shihab intending to travel at noon on Friday. I said to him, "Will you travel on Friday?" He replied, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) traveled on Friday."
