Hazrat Jabir says that I asked Hazrat Qasim about the bath on the day of Friday, so he said that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) did not use to bathe on the day of Friday while traveling. I also think the same for you, that you should not bathe while traveling.

Hazrat Aswad and Hazrat Alqamah did not perform ghusl while traveling on Fridays.

Hazrat Iyas bin Mu'awiyah says that the Friday bath is obligatory upon the one who offers the Friday prayer.
