Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Jumhan says that I saw Hazrat Saad many times that he came to the mosque and people were offering prayers. He would walk between the row and the wall and reach his place for prayer. He used to offer prayer near the fifth pillar.

Hazrat Ubaidullah bin Abi Yazid says that I saw Hazrat Miswar bin Makhramah, after the congregation had stood up, passing through the rows and reaching the first or second row.

Hazrat Muhammad bin Salih says that I saw Hazrat Qasim bin Muhammad used to pray in a specific place in the mosque and would not pray anywhere else except that place. I have also seen Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib doing the same.
