Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) considered it disliked to pray in a slaughterhouse. (For research on this subject, refer to Imam Suyuti's treatise "I'lam al-Areeb bi Huduth Bid'at al-Mahareeb".)

Hazrat Musa bin Qais narrates that I saw Ibrahim avoiding passing by the slaughterhouse.

Hazrat Ka'b considered it undesirable that slaughterhouses be established in mosques.

Hazrat Salim bin Abi J'ad says: Do not make slaughterhouses in mosques.

Ibrahim has considered it undesirable to pray in a slaughterhouse.

Hasan has considered it undesirable to pray in a slaughterhouse.

Hazrat Ubaid bin Abi J'ad says that the Companions used to say that among the signs of the Day of Judgment is that slaughterhouses will be built in mosques.

It is narrated from Musa Jahni that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: My Ummah will remain upon goodness as long as they do not make slaughterhouses in their mosques like the places of worship of the Christians.

Ibrahim narrates that Abdullah had said: "Avoid these slaughterhouses." Ibrahim would not stand in the slaughterhouses.

Hazrat Abu Dharr narrates that among the signs of the Day of Judgment is that slaughterhouses will be established inside mosques.

Hazrat Ismail bin Abdul Malik states that Hazrat Abu Khalid Walbi would not stand in the slaughterhouse, rather he would stand before it.

Hazrat Musa bin Ubaidah says that I saw the mosque of Hazrat Abu Dharr, but there was no slaughterhouse in it.
