Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Qilabah states that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) offered salam during the prostration of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw).

Hazrat Abdullah said the salam during the prostration of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw).

Hazrat Abdullah says that there is Salam (salutation) between the prostrations of forgetfulness (Sujood as-Sahw).

Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Sa'd and Hazrat Ammar offered three rak'ahs and concluded the prayer with salam. When they were informed, they completed the remaining prayer, then said takbeer, then performed two prostrations, and then said salam twice.

Hazrat Ibn Abi Laila performed two prostrations of forgetfulness and then offered salam.

Ibrahim gave salam during the prostration of forgetfulness.

Ibrahim says that the salutation (salaam) for forgetfulness (sahw) and for the funeral (janazah) is the same.

Hasan says that there is Salam during the prostrations of forgetfulness (Sujood as-Sahw).
