Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Yazid narrates that Hazrat Ibn Masood used to stand up by putting pressure on the edges of his feet.

Hazrat Ubaid bin Abi J'ad says that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to stand up by putting pressure on the edges of his feet.

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Yazid says that Hazrat Abdullah used to stand up in prayer by putting pressure on the edges of his feet.

Hazrat Khaythamah says that I saw Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) rising by putting pressure on the edges of his feet.

Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdullah says that Hazrat Ibn Abi Laila used to stand up by putting pressure on the edges of his feet.

Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and many other companions used to rise by putting pressure on the edges of their feet.

Hazrat Wahb bin Kaysan narrates that I saw Hazrat Ibn Zubair; he performed two prostrations and then stood up in such a way as if standing on the edges of his feet.

It is narrated similarly through another chain.

Hazrat Nafi' narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to rise in prayer by putting pressure on the edges of his feet.
