(ما) يستحب أن يعلمه الصبي أول ما يتعلم
What should be taught to a child first?
Hadith 3535
٣٥٣٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (حدثنا) (١) (سفيان) (٢) بن عيينة عن عبد الكريم عن عمرو بن شعيب قال: كان الغلام إذا أفصح من بني عبد المطلب علمه النبي ﷺ هذه الآية سبع مرات: ﴿الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ﴾ [الإسراء: ١١١] (٣).
Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib says that when a child in Banu Abdul Muttalib began to speak, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would teach him this verse seven times: All praise is due to Allah, Who has no offspring, and in His sovereignty He has no partner.
Hadith 3536
٣٥٣٦ - حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن جعفر عن أبيه قال: كان علي بن الحسين يعلّم ولده (يقول) (١): (قل) (٢) آمنت باللَّه وكفرت بالطاغوت.
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Hussain used to teach his child this: I have believed in Allah and I have rejected Satan.
Hadith 3537
٣٥٣٧ - حدثنا هشيم عن العوام عن إبراهيم التيمي قال: كانوا يستحبون أن يلقنوا (الصبي) (١)، ويعرب أول ما يتكلم يقول: لا إله إلا اللَّه، سبع مرات، (فيكون) (٢) ذلك أول شيء يتكلم به.
Ibrahim Taimi says that the predecessors liked that a child be instructed in prayer, and when the child begins to speak, he should first be taught "La ilaha illallah." They wanted that the very first words to come from the child's tongue should be this statement.
