Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr states that the most virtuous place in the mosque is the Maqam Ibrahim, that is, the place of prayer. Then the right side of the mosque.

Ibrahim considered it preferable to stand on the right side of the imam.

Ibrahim liked to stand on the right side of the imam.

Hazrat Salamah bin Abi Yahya says: I saw Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) praying in the left part of the mosque.

Hazrat Imran Manqari narrates that Hasan and Hazrat Ibn Sirin both used to pray on the left side of the Imam.

Hazrat Salamah bin Abi Yahya says that I saw Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib used to pray in the right section of the mosque.

Hazrat Bara’ says that we used to like to stand on the right side of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.

Hazrat Abu Ja'far says that the rows on the right side have twenty-five times more reward than the rest of the mosque.
