Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that there is a time for prayer between two prayers.

Hazrat Ikrimah says that between one prayer and the next, there is a time for a prayer.

Hazrat Munzir says that once I asked Abu Razin, "When does my prayer become missed?" He replied, "Your prayer does not become missed until the time of the next prayer begins; however, delaying the prayer is excessive and harmful."

Hazrat Kathir bin Abbas says that a prayer is not considered missed until the call to prayer (adhan) for the next prayer has been given.

Hazrat Usman bin Muhib says that Hazrat Abu Hurairah was asked, "What is negligence in prayer?" He replied, "To delay the prayer so much that the time for the next prayer begins."
