Those who permit it and see no harm in it
Hadith 3172
٣١٧٢ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن حجاج عن أبي إسحاق قال: رأيت أصحاب علي وأصحاب عبد اللَّه وآثار السجود في جباههم وأنوفهم (١).
Hazrat Abu Ishaq says that I saw the students of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that there were marks of prostration on their foreheads and noses.
Hadith 3173
٣١٧٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن أبي إسحاق قال: ما رأيت سجدة أعظم منها، يعني: سجدة ابن الزبير (١).
Hazrat Abu Ishaq says that I have not seen anyone perform a greater prostration (in which more parts of the body touch the ground) than Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair.
Hadith 3174
٣١٧٤ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن هشام عن الحسن قال: (١) رأيت ما يلي الأرض من عامر بن (عبد) (٢) قيس (مثل) (٣) ثفن البعير.
Hasan says that I have not seen anyone touch the ground in prostration more than Hazrat Amir bin Abd Qais; he would cling to the ground like a camel sits down.
