Those who used to say 'Bismillah' in tashahhud
Hadith 3040
٣٠٤٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا أبو خالد الأحمر عن أيمن عن أبي الزبير عن جابر أن النبي ﷺ كان يقول في التشهد: بسم اللَّه (١).
Hazrat Jabir narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say Bismillah in Tashahhud.
Hadith 3041
٣٠٤١ - حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه أن عمر قال في التشهد: بسم اللَّه (١).
Hazrat Urwah narrates that Hazrat Umar recited Bismillah in Tashahhud.
Hadith 3042
٣٠٤٢ - حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن أبي إسحاق عن الحارث عن علي: أنه كان يقول إذا تشهد: بسم اللَّه خير الأسماء اسم اللَّه (١).
Hazrat Harith narrates that when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) recited the Tashahhud, he used to say Bismillah and would say that the best of Allah Almighty’s names is Allah.
Hadith 3043
٣٠٤٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسحاق بن يحيى عن المسيب بن رافع قال: سمع ابن مسعود رجلًا يقول في التشهد: بسم اللَّه، فقال: إنما يقال هذا على الطعام (١).
Hazrat Musayyib bin Rafi' says that Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud heard a man reciting "Bismillah" during Tashahhud, so he said that this phrase is said over food.
Hadith 3044
٣٠٤٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن مسعر عن حماد عن سعيد بن جبير: أنه كان يقول في التشهد: بسم اللَّه.
Hazrat Hammad states that Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair used to say Bismillah in Tashahhud.
