Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sha'bi says that there is a wetness from Satan, that is, he moistens the opening of the private part and casts a whisper (doubt).

Ibrahim says that a person should not be overly concerned about the opening of the penis, except if he sees something there which he dislikes.

Hazrat Mansoor says that Satan moistens the hole of remembrance (dhikr).

Hazrat Abu Umamah bin Sahl narrates that the predecessors did not pay much attention to the wetness of the opening of the genital organ.

Hazrat Amr bin Murrah says that the whispers of Satan are not worthy of being given any consideration.

Hazrat Tawus says: Why do you look at your private part?

Hazrat Abu Umamah bin Sahl says that a person should not be overly concerned about the wetness of his private part; however, if there is actual impurity, then he must clean it.

Hazrat Ibn al-Zubair says that Satan comes to a person from the direction of his ablution, hair, and nails.
