في طين المطر يصيب الثوب
Ruling if Rain Mud Touches Clothes
Hadith 1852
١٨٥٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن هشام عن الحسن: في طين (١) المطر يصيب الثوب قال: إن شاء غسله، وإن شاء تركه، حتى يجف، ثم يفركه.
Hasan was asked: If rain mud gets on clothes, what is the ruling about it? He replied: If he wishes, he may wash it off, and if he wishes, he may leave it; when it dries, he should scrape it off.
Hadith 1853
١٨٥٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن منصور قال: سألت مجاهدا عن طين المطر يصيب الثوب؟ فقال: إذا يبس؛ فحته.
Hazrat Mansur says that I asked Hazrat Mujahid, "If rain mud gets on clothes, what is the ruling about it?" He replied, "When it dries, scrape it off."
Hadith 1854
١٨٥٤ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن حجاج بن دينار قال: سألت أبا جعفر عن طين المطر يصيب ثوبي؟ فقال: الأرض الطيبة (تطيب) (١) الأرض الخبيثة.
Hazrat Hajjaj bin Dinar says that I asked Abu Ja'far, "If the mud from rain gets on my clothes, what is its ruling?" He replied, "Pure earth purifies impure earth."
