Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If a dog licks any of your vessels, then wash it seven times.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If a dog licks any of your vessels, then the way to purify it is to wash it seven times and to clean it with earth the first time.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that if a dog licks a utensil, it should be washed seven times.

Hazrat Ibn Musayyib says: If a dog puts its mouth in your utensil, then wash it seven times.

Ibrahim says that if a dog puts its mouth in a utensil, wash it so many times that the utensil becomes clean.

Ibrahim says that if a dog puts its mouth in a utensil, wash it as many times as needed until the utensil becomes clean.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Mughaffal that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If a dog licks a utensil, wash it seven times and on the eighth time clean it with earth.
