Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hasan narrates that the person who saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) urinate while sitting told us that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would spread both his legs so much that we feared his blessed body might get injured.

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Hasnah says that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out, and in his hand was something like a leather shield. He urinated towards it. A man said, "Look at him! He urinates like women!" When the Prophet heard this, he said, "Woe to you! Have you not heard about that man from the Children of Israel? When people used to cut off the part of their garment that was touched by urine, he forbade them from doing so, and as a result, Allah subjected him to the punishment of the grave."

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by two graves and said: "They are being punished, and they are not being punished for something major. One of them did not protect himself from urine, and the other used to carry tales."

Hazrat Abu Musa was very strict regarding the matter of urine and used to say that when urine would get on the clothes of any man from Bani Israel, he would cut off that part with scissors.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Most of the punishment of the grave is because of urine.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that once a Jewish woman came to me and said that the punishment of the grave also occurs because of urine. I said, "You are lying." She replied, "I am telling the truth; because of it, clothes and skin are cut." Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that in the meantime, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, and during this, our voices had become loud. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What is this?" I told him the whole matter, and he said, "This woman is telling the truth."

Hazrat Abu Bakrah narrates that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by two graves and said: They are being punished, and they are not being punished for something major; rather, one is being punished because of urine, and the other because of backbiting.
