Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Darda used to enter the bathhouse and would say that the bathhouse is the best room; it removes dirt and reminds one of the fire.

Ibrahim narrates that Abu Huraira entered the bathhouse.

Hazrat Ikrimah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) entered the bathhouse at the place of Juhfah.

Hazrat Usman bin Qais says that once I went with Hazrat Jarir on a Friday to his bathhouse which was at the place of Aqool.

Hazrat Abu Khalid says that Hazrat Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) owed me a debt. I came to him to demand it, and he was coming out of the bathhouse. There were traces of henna on his hair, and one of his slave girls was cleaning the traces of henna with a bottle.
