Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Mujahid narrates that Hazrat Umar would perform tayammum after urinating and would say, "I do tayammum so that reciting tasbih becomes permissible for me."

Whenever Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would urinate and then intend to eat or drink something, he would perform ablution but would not wash his feet.

Hazrat Wasel narrates that once we were with Ibrahim. He went to urinate and after returning, washed his hands with water. Then he said that the predecessors liked that hands be washed with water after urination.

Hazrat Tawus says that I saw both Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) and Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that after coming out of the toilet, a vessel of water would be brought to them with which they would wash their faces and hands.

Ibrahim narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ablution or wash his hands with water after coming out of the toilet.
