Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Sirin narrates that once Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) drank milk, and people mentioned ablution or rinsing the mouth. He said, "There is no need for it. Make things easy, ease will be created for you as well."

Hazrat Mutarrif bin Shukhair says that after performing ablution, I drank milk. Then I asked Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) about this, and he said: There is no harm in it; create ease, ease will be created for you.

Hazrat Talha says that I asked Hazrat Abu Abdur Rahman about performing ablution after drinking milk, so he replied that this is indeed a pleasant drink for those who consume it.

Hazrat Mas'ar says that I asked Hazrat Jabala whether he had heard Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) saying that he eats meat and drinks milk and then performs prayer without performing ablution; he said, yes, I have heard it.

Hazrat Ata bin As-Saib says that Hazrat Abu Abdur Rahman was in the mosque when Mudrik bin Ammarah brought milk to him. He drank the milk, so Mudrik said, "This is water, do rinse your mouth." He replied, "Why should I rinse my mouth? Should I rinse after drinking something pleasant and pure?!"
