Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) said that one should perform ghusl after cupping.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Perform ghusl (ritual bath) after cupping.

Hazrat Hakam states that Ibrahim and Hazrat Mujahid had cupping done by me. Then Hazrat Mujahid performed ghusl, and Ibrahim was content with only washing the places of cupping.

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the command of ghusl (ritual bath) regarding these three persons: the one who undergoes cupping, the one who removes pubic hair, and the one who plucks armpit hair.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "After cupping, a bath should be taken."

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to instruct the person who had cupping done to perform ghusl, but he did not consider it obligatory.
