Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

A companion from the tribe of Ghifar narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade performing ablution with water left over by a woman.

Hazrat Sawadah bin Asim says that I met Hakam Ghafari at the place of Marbad. He used to forbid people from (using) the leftover water of a woman. I said to him, "How beautiful is the yellowness of a woman's arms!" He grabbed something and threw it angrily and said, "It will be good for you and your companions."

Hazrat Kulthum bint Amir narrates that once Juwayriya bint Harith performed ablution, and when I wanted to perform ablution with the leftover water, she stopped me.

Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib and Hasan Basri considered performing ablution with water left over by a woman as undesirable.

Hasan says that a man has been prohibited from performing ablution with water left over by a woman.

Hazrat Abu Alia says that I was with a companion, and during that time, I wanted to perform ablution with water left over by a woman, but he forbade me.

Hazrat Ghaneem bin Qais narrates that if a woman performs ablution before you, then do not perform ablution with the water she has used.
