إذا نسي أن يمسح برأسه فوجد في لحيتة بللا
Ruling for One Who Forgot to Wipe the Head but His Beard is Still Wet
Hadith 215
٢١٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: إذا نسي أن يمسح رأسه، وفي لحيته بلل، فذكر وهو في الصلاة. فإن كان في لحيته بلل؛ فليمسح رأسه.
Ibrahim says that if a person forgets to wipe his head but there is moisture in his beard and he is in the state of prayer, then he should wipe his head with the moisture from his beard.
Hadith 216
٢١٦ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن عبد الملك عن عطاء قال: إذا نسي مسح رأسه، فوجد في لحيته بللا؛ أجزأه أن يمسح به رأسه.
Hazrat Ata says that if a person forgets to wipe his head during ablution but there is moisture present in his beard, then he should wipe his head with that same moisture.
Hadith 217
٢١٧ - حدثنا حفص عن هشام عن الحسن، وعن الأعمش عن (١) إبراهيم: مثله.
Hazrat A'mash narrated from Ibrahim a narration similar to this.
Hadith 218
٢١٨ - حدثنا ابن علية عن يونس عن الحسن - (في قوله) (١) في الرجل: يذكر في الصلاة أنه لم يمسح رأسه، وفي لحيته بلل- قال: يمسح رأسه من بلل لحيته.
Hasan Basri says about a person who remembers during prayer that he did not wipe his head, but there is moisture in his beard, that he should wipe his head with the moisture from his beard.
Hadith 219
٢١٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن حماد بن سلمة عن قتادة عن خلاس -فيما يعلم حماد- عن علي قال: إذا توضأ الرجل، فنسي أن يمسح، برأسه فوجد في لحيته بللا؛ أخذ من لحيته فمسح رأسه (١) (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that if a person forgets to wipe his head but there is moisture in his beard and he is in the state of prayer, then he should wipe his head with the moisture from his beard.
