Hadith 9989
٩٩٨٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن زكريا عن أبي إسحاق عن عبيد بن عمرو عن علي قال: إذا رأى أحدكم الهلال فلا يرفع به (رأسه) (١) إنما يكفي من أحدكم أن يقول: ربي وربك اللَّه (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when any of you sees the moon, he should not raise his head; it is sufficient for you to say: "My Lord and your Lord is Allah."
