Hadith 9846
٩٨٤٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبد الرحمن بن (عابس) (١) عن ابن أبي ليلى عن أصحاب النبي ﷺ قالوا: (إنما نهى) (٢) النبي ﷺ عن الوصال في (الصيام) (٣) والحجامة (للصائم) (٤) إبقاء على أصحابه (٥).
Hazrat Ibn Abi Laila narrates from some of the Companions that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade continuous fasting and also forbade cupping while in the state of fasting. He issued this prohibition out of compassion for his Companions.
