Hadith 9764
٩٧٦٤ - حدثنا الثقفي عن حميد عن أنس عن عبادة بن الصامت قال: خرج علينا رسول اللَّه ﷺ وهو يريد أن يخبرنا (بليلة) (١) القدر، فتلاحى رجلان فقال: "إني خرجت وأنا أريد أن أخبركم بليلة القدر، فتلاحى فلان وفلان لعل ذلك (أن يكون) (٢) خيرا، (التمسوها) (٣) في التاسعة والسابعة والخامسة" (٤).
Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit narrates that once Muhammad (peace be upon him) came out to inform the people about Laylatul Qadr, but two men were fighting. He said, "I came to inform you about Laylatul Qadr, but so-and-so and so-and-so were fighting; perhaps there is good in this. Seek it in the ninth, seventh, and fifth nights."
