Hadith 971
٩٧١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم عن (يزيد) (١) بن (أبي زياد) (٢) قال: حدثني عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى عن علي قال: سئل النبي ﷺ عن المذي فقال: "فيه الوضوء، وفي المني الغسل" (٣).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah was asked about drops of madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said that ablution (wudu) is obligatory for it, and ghusl (full ritual bath) is obligatory for semen (mani).
