Hadith 9632
٩٦٣٢ - [حدثنا وكيع بن الجراح عن ابن أبي ذئب عن القاسم بن (عباس) (١) عن عبد اللَّه بن (عمير) (٢) عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٣): "لَئنْ بقيت إلى قابل لأصومن التاسع يعني (يوم) (٤) عاشوراء" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I remain alive until next year, I will surely fast on the ninth of Muharram, that is, the Day of Ashura.
