Hadith 9265
٩٢٦٥ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم التيمي عن أبيه قال: كنت مع حذيفة بالمدائن قال: (فاستأذنته) (١) في الرجوع إلى أهلي فقال: لا آذن لك إلا على أن تعزم أن لا تفطر حتى تدخل قال: وذلك في رمضان، قلت: وأنا أعزم على نفسي أن لا أفطر ولا أقصر حتى آتي أهلي (٢).
Ibrahim Taimi's father narrates that I was with Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) in Mada'in. I asked him for permission to return to my home, so he said, "I give you permission on the condition that you do not leave the fast of Ramadan until you reach home." I said, "I promise that until I reach home, I will neither leave the fast of Ramadan nor shorten the prayer."
