٩٢٦٤ - حدثنا عمر بن أيوب عن جعفر بن برقان (قال) (١): سألت الزهري في ⦗٤٩٩⦘ كم (تقصر) (٢) الصلاة؟ قال: في السفر الممعن قال: قلت: وما (الإمعان) (٣) في نفسك؟ قال: يومين.
Hazrat Ja'far bin Burqan says that I asked Hazrat Zuhri, "On how long a journey can the prayer be shortened?" He replied, "On a tiring journey." I asked, "What is a tiring journey?" He replied, "A journey of two days."
