Hadith 9244
٩٢٤٤ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن أبي الفيض قال: كنا في غزوة فكان علينا (أمير) (١) فقال: لا تصومن، فمن صام فليفطر، قال أبو الفيض: فلقيت أبا قرصافة (٢) رجلًا من أصحاب النبي ﷺ فسألته عن ذلك فقال: لو صمت (ثم صمت) (٣) ما قضيت (٤).
Hazrat Abu Faiz narrates that we were in a battle expedition and a certain person was our leader. He said that whoever wishes may fast and whoever wishes may not fast. Abu Faiz says that I met a companion, Hazrat Abu Qarsafah, and I asked him about this matter. He replied that if I fast and then fast again, I have not made up (any missed fasts).
