Hadith 9214
٩٢١٤ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن (عبيد اللَّه) (١) عن ابن عباس أن النبي ﷺ صام عام الفتح حتى بلغ الكديد ثم أفطر، وإنما يؤخذ (بالآخر) (٢) من فعل رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fasted in the year of the conquest of Makkah, and when he reached the place of Kadid, he broke his fast. The rule is that the last action of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will be taken (as precedent).
