Hadith 9185
٩١٨٥ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن ابن أبي خالد عن الشعبي قال: كان حذيفة يعجل بعض سحوره ليدرك الصلاة مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ، فبلغ ذلك النبي ﷺ، (فكان يرسل إليه) (١) فيأكل معه حتى يخرجا إلى الصلاة جميعا (٢).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to eat sahur early in order to join the congregational prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to know of this, he would send someone to call him, and would eat sahur with him. Then both of them would go together for the congregational prayer.
