Hadith 9174
٩١٧٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن هشام عن قتادة عن أنس عن زيد بن ثابت قال: تسحرنا مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ ثم قمنا إلى الصلاة قلنا: كم كان بينهما؟ قال: "قراءة خمسين آية" (١).
Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit narrates that we ate sahur with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, then we stood up for prayer. He was asked, "How much time was there between sahur and the prayer?" He replied, "About the time it takes to recite fifty verses."
