Hadith 9173
٩١٧٣ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن أبي هلال قال: ثنا سوادة بن حنظلة الهلالي عن سمرة بن جندب (قال) (١): قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا (يمنعنكم) (٢) من السحور أذان بلال ولا الصبح المستطيل ولكن الصبح المستطير في الأفق" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not let Bilal's call to prayer or the vertically spreading dawn prevent you from taking suhoor; however, when the dawn appears across the horizon in width, then stop eating and drinking."
