Hadith 9169
٩١٦٩ - حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان عن التيمي عن أبي عثمان عن عبد اللَّه قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا يمنعنَّ أحدكم أذان بلال من سحوره فإنه ينادي أو يؤذن بليل (فينبه) (١) نائمكم ويرجع قائمكم" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Let not Bilal’s call to prayer prevent you from eating the pre-dawn meal (suhoor), for he gives the call to prayer during the night so that the one who is sleeping may wake up and the one who is standing in prayer during the night may return.
