Hadith 9113
٩١١٣ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى بن عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة (قال) (١) قال: إن النبي ﷺ كان يرغب في قيام رمضان من غير عزيمة وقال: "إذا دخل رمضان فتحت أبواب الجنة وغلّقت أبواب الجحيم وسلسلت الشَّياطين" (٢).
Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to especially encourage standing (in prayer) during Ramadan. On one occasion, he said: When the month of Ramadan comes, the doors of Paradise are opened, the doors of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.
